🇬🇧 Fuse Box
The Weinsberg Pepper Meg contains a fuse box that I would like to have some more information about.
The orange button works fine when connected to 220v.
How does the blue button (monthly testing) at the top right work?
And maybe someone can explain the functions of the different switches.

Hi Frans,
the right switch has the same function as the left one, it is an RCD.
I suspect there is an inverter installed in your motorhome and the second, right RCD is intended for this.

The right one is a combination of RCD/Fuse serving only one circuit

You are right, an inverter from wcs (German company) has been installed.
Should I test this when the inverter is switched on, or at least that's what I assume.
Then I don't think it matters for the operation whether it is connected to shore power or not.

The button simulates a drain, but if there is no supply there is no drain either.

The RCD switch and the circuit breaker with the "Chint" brand are original from Weinsberg. The switch on the right is a combined RCD/circuit breaker and is not original.
It belongs to the inverter.
Just out of interest: Does the switch on the right switch off if you press the blue button when the inverter is working?

The datasheet states:
"From handle, distiguish what kind of fault in the circuit"
i.e. the left handle can point down independantly to indicate a residual current.
Over current or shortage will trigger the right one, but as the fuse handle partly covers the left it will also pulled down.
