🇬🇧Lights not working

Hi,

I hope it is okay to ask my question in English. I have a Weinsberg 600 Meg Pepper. The lights above the table are not working anymore (2 lights in light brown area). The switch on the left in the door opening is working fine. But the lights are not going on. I have measured the voltage on the switch but that's zero. I have checked the elektroblok fuses and they are all okay.

Anyone knows if there are more fuses? Does someone has the layout of the 12 Volt switchbox so that I can see where the lights are connected to?

You can reply in German, that's no problem at all.

Thanks already!

Hi,

surely you can ask in English, as today most Browsers offer to translate automatically, but I prefer to answer in English.

At first please add details about your Pepper to your BIO, so that help will be more to the point.

Are other lights working?
Main switch is ON?

Often the plugs in the power distribution are not tight enough. Check those for proper contact and tighten them slightly using some pliers.

Good luck
Matthias

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, all other lights are working. It is not working on 12 volt or 220 (no differences). But indeed a good tip to check the connectors on the power distribution board. I will check them.

As voltage at the switch is zero, I assume the Wago clamp is the most probable root cause. Open the 12 V distributor box in the cabinet above the kitchen sink, and check for any loose cables. If you find one, check if it leads to the switch (continuity with multimeter) and then the only challenge will be to figure out, which of the several Wago's in this crowded box ist the correct one, to connect with.

Hi,

I have checked the 12 volt distribution box and they are all fine. I suspect also some wago clamp as i had this before with the outside light. I check the distributor box in the cabinets above the table but they are all okay. I will check the one above the kitchen now as wel. But if i follow the cable from the switch, it will go on the floor below the kitchen drawers then below the fridge closet and the to the storage box below the bed then cross over some how and then I loose the cable. Probably below the floor behind the shower. Would be nice if there are some drawings of this 🙂 But for today I will stop as it is to hot in the Camper in the Netherlands 🙂

The fault is probably above the door behind the control panel

Hi,

I have solved it. I have removed the light brown area where the lights where in. A wago clamp was not connected well anymore. Re-assambled this and now it is working again 🙂

Thanks for all your suggestions and help.

Good to know it's working again.
I guess you mean: the ceiling above the table/entrance. Its a difficult part to remove, at least in my model year 2018 Pepper.

Well done!
Matthias
